In Atlanta, GA, Christina Yother founded her own fashion brand after her graduation from the Savannah College of Art and Design. She had always had the goal and dream of starting her own business, so after graduation she decided to begin the journey and follow this dream. As a child, Christina loved to always be making something. She also enjoyed spending time at her parent’s jobs, pretending she was working.
“My grandmother started her own publishing company and grew it into something big that my mother now runs. Growing up around my grandmother and mother being their own boss and so hard working, I have always been inspired to start my own business too for something I am passionate about.”
Christina learned how to sew at a young age on her grandmother's hand me down sewing machine and began to make her own clothes.
Working and interning in many various fashion related positions throughout high school and college, she learned about the business side of the fashion industry.
In 2018, Christina Yother was invited to show her SS19 Collection at Vancouver Fashion Week. Here, Christina’s designs were seen for the first time by a larger audience and the interest and support she received fueled her to take the next step in her business.
